America needs to get ready for another 9/11. We were warned before the first 9/11 and ignored the warnings. George W. Bush said the USA would support Israel, no matter what they did. The rest is history.

At opening time on the first day for early voting my wife and I were there to vote; no line at all, we went up to register and got VIP service.

Politicians need to stop wasting time with fake optics and surveys and concentrate on real actions.

Nowadays words like astounding, unbelievable and un-American are becoming commonplace to describe unacceptable antics, mostly in the land of Republican politics.

Monica De La Cruz is my current congresswoman for District 15, from whom I recently received a text message that “she was coming out” — and if I didn’t chip in at least $5 to help her and Republicans solve the border crisis — our country is finished — and it’s all thanks to Joe Biden!

In America, Veterans Day is the day in which we reflect and honor the sacrifice, service and dedication of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Nov. 11 is a day to appreciate and honor all who served in the military — whether they served here at home or overseas.

Republicans need to unite, stop being so petty and self-serving. Stop bashing the border wall and spare us the aggrandizement of unlawful migration. This is a critical point in America’s survival.

As of this writing, SpaceX, whose last heavy booster rocket launch caused the Federal Aviation Administration to look further at its permitting, is now applying to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for a treated wastewater permit to dump up to 200,000 gallons into South Bay nearby, which is the first coastal preserve named in 1984 and is important ecologically to our and other areas.

I like to buy local when I can find it here. I have found that the absence of shipping charges (on many, not all products) more than makes up for the higher price needed by a company that has brick-and-mortar overhead.
