Anyone planning to visit the Gladys Porter Zoo on Saturday might want to bring cash or a checkbook.

The zoo reported on its Facebook page Friday that it was having some credit card processing issues, just as other organizations have been affected across the nation.

Zoo officials wrote: “Therefore, if you plan on visiting us tomorrow (Saturday,) we may only be accepting cash or checks. We do have a functioning ATM on-site but for faster service please be prepared with cash or check. “

Adult tickets for those 14 and older are $15.50, children 13 or younger are $9.50 and $12.50 for seniors 65 and older. Entrance is free for children 2 and younger.
