San Benito’s first Hog Waddle Country Concert & Cook-Off will be held Saturday at the San Benito Fairgrounds from noon until midnight.
This year’s event will have food and craft vendors, games, activities for the entire family.
The outdoor evening concert will feature country music singer Mark Chesnutt, plus performances by Buck’ N Crazy, Hollow Slaughter Creek, Lauren Corzine Band, Roy Solis, Shotgun Band, and Southern Ashes.
“The Hog Waddle Country Concert & Cook-Off is a family friendly event with food, fun, and the best country music in Texas from various artists. That said, we are looking to attract and serve diverse audiences,” said co-event organizer Art Garza, who also serves as the City’s parks and recreation director.
There will also be a BBQ cook-off. The concert is free, but parking is $8 per vehicle.
