Right to stay alive

Many of our churches are more than a little vocal about the “right to life.” Abortion has long been debated and fought over.

Saving lives is a very good thing. Now our children are fighting for a “right to live.” They have some support from adults.

That is also a very good thing. There is, however, a lot of silence from many of our churches when it comes to guns.

Maybe the children should be asking their churches for help.

One might hope that the NRA does not control the church leaders like they seem to control political leaders.

If the “right to life movement” combined with the “right to live movement,” that might wake up the politicians put to sleep by the NRA.

The 2nd Amendment might protect machine guns but I doubt God does. Ask a minister.
