Committed to faith: Area girls committed to doing good

HARLINGEN — Faith Assembly of God in Combes held its annual Girl’s Ministry Celebration recently and recognized some of its young parishioners for dedication to the ministry and school.

Trisha Madison Pedraza, Trinity Nicole Peña and Hailey Pedraza completed the requirements and were honored for their accomplishments.

Trisha

Trisha and Hailey are the daughters of Rey and Leticia Pedraza from San Benito.

Trisha is a 6th grader at Riverside Middle School. Trisha (Lulu) completed the requirements for the following clubs: Rainbows, Daises, Prims and Stars.

She has attended Faith Assembly since she was born.

She enjoys talking on the phone. She is very close to her sister as they are best of friends.

They enjoy doing things together and serving God. She sings in the children’s church choir and at special church services.

Hailey

Hailey is an 8th grader at Riverside Middle School.

She completed the requirements for the following clubs: Rainbows, Daises, Prims, Stars and Friends.

She has attended Faith Assembly since she was 2 ½ years old. She enjoys and will be playing basketball in school.

She participates in many church activities and sings during children’s church and at special church services.

Trinity

Trinity is the daughter of Debra and Daniel Peña. She is a 6th grader at Vernon Middle School in Harlingen. She completed the requirements for the following clubs: Rainbows, Daises, Prims, and Stars. At school, her favorite subjects are math and app creation. She enjoys reading, writing and drawing.

She has been in both honor and principal’s honor roll at school. Trinity will be playing the flute in band.

She has participated in many church activities and sings in the children’s choir.
