SAN BENITO — The San Benito School District is nearing the end of its search for a new superintendent.
The Board of Trustees named Dr. Nate Carman as a lone finalist last night.
Carman comes from the Teague school district where he has served as a superintendent since 2013.
The board began their search for a new superintendent early this summer after Adrian Vega resigned to pursue other job opportunities.
The board is expected to offer Carman a contract after the state required 21 day waiting period.
