Harlingen Police will hold a news conference on Wednesday morning with what it describes as a “positive update“ on the case of Nahomi Rodriguez.
The young San Benito woman disappeared last summer from the McDonald’s on Morgan Boulevard. Her remains were discovered in a ditch east of Rio Hondo last month.
No one has been charged with her murder.
The police department says the news conference will also involve the Cameron County DA’s office, San Benito police and Harlingen Area Crime Stoppers.
