SANTA ROSA — Sierra De La Fuente accepted a Longhorns lanyard and matching sunglasses when she announced the University of Texas at Austin as her college choice on Decision Day.
De La Fuente, along with more than 90 Santa Rosa High School seniors, announced and celebrated where they are going to college next fall.
Decision Day is the final day seniors have to make their college choice.
“I am so proud of all of them. They are so focused and so determined,” said Santa Rosa High Principal Rebecca Corpus. “Many of our students are driven, and I’m very, very impressed with all of them.”
