PSJA High has played its way into the RGVSports.com Class 5A-6A Top 10 poll for the first time this season following the Bears’ fourth straight win. The No. 10-ranked Bears took down defending District 31-6A champion Edinburg North 41-12 last Thursday to improve to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in district play.

Los Fresnos (6-2, 2-1) re-entered the latest ranks at No. 7 after blowing by Brownsville Hanna 31-0 last Thursday. The Falcons close the regular season with crucial matchups against San Benito and Harlingen High.

La Villa soared back into the the latest RGVSports.com Sub-5A Top 4 Poll at No. 4. The Cardinals (6-2, 3-0) defeated District 16-2A DI title challenger Santa Maria 30-19 last week and are now two victories away from capturing a third consecutive outright district championship.
