Disney magic returns to the Rio Grande Valley

If you’re looking for a place where you can live out your childhood dream of seeing Disney movies come to life while also escaping the Valley heat, you’re in luck.

“Disney On Ice” presents “Frozen” and “Encanto” is coming to the Rio Grande Valley where fans will get to experience the Disney magic on stage; well an icy stage at the Payne Arena which is located at 2600 N. 10th St. in the city of Hidalgo.

The show is scheduled to run from Wednesday, April 19 through Sunday, April 23.

This year’s show will feature the Disney films “Frozen” and “Encanto” where audiences will have the opportunity to witness fan-favorite characters such as Olaf, Ana, Elsa and Kristoff from “Frozen,” as well as Maribel, Bruno and the rest of the magical Madrigal family from “Encanto,” come to life.

Tickets for the show can be purchased online. Ticket prices start at $35 and vary according to seating.
