Police escort Edinburg High football player from game for hitting referee

Edinburg High senior Emmanuel Duron rushed onto the field and instigated a physical confrontation with the referee that ejected him during a game against PSJA High.

Duron was escorted out of Richard R. Flores Stadium in Edinburg by Edinburg CISD police officers while the official was evaluated in an ambulance for concussion symptoms.
