Limited Día de Muertos exhibit unveiled in McAllen airport

On Thursday, Oct. 29, a Día de Muertos cultural exhibit, co-hosted by the Mexican Consulate of McAllen, was unveiled at McAllen International Airport. Running until Nov. 9, the exhibit was dedicated to the medical workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
The Mexican holiday, Día de Los Muertos, began Sunday, Nov. 1, and ends on Monday, Nov. 2. The ofrenda (the altar) is a ritual reunion to remember the dead.
