One would think the way liberals on this Forum support, defend and praise the DemocRAT Socialist Party’s polices and politicians that DemocRAT strongholds like the Rio Grande Valley are utopian. The reality is that most DemocRAT strongholds are closer to being hell on earth.
Because some liberal Forum writer might write, “Trump caused it,” note the dates of the following articles: 1/21/13 Texas Monthly “RGV tops list of America’s poorest cities.” 10/31/13 Houston Chronicle – “Brownsville named the poorest city in America: Of the Brownsville -Harlingen area’s 415,557 residents, 36 percent live below the poverty line.” Wikipedia: Brownsville demographics – 48.4% of those under 18 live below the poverty line. 1/19/16 ValleyCentral.com – “Data: Texas’ 5 poorest counties all located in Rio Grande Valley.”
Then there was this: 5/17/17 brownsvillerepublic.worldpress “Luckless San Benito poorest in Texas.” As a frequent San Benito Forum writer might say, “We get what we deserve.”
Here’s more DemocRAT inspired misery: Detroit has a 30.6% poverty rate and 47% of Detroit residents are functionally Illiterate. 40% of children in St. Louis are born into poverty. Minneapolis/St Paul – less law enforcement overtime and injuries, $500,000,000 in damage to 1,500 businesses during peaceful George Floyd riots. 10 Chicago PD officers shot so far in 2020. Look up and view the 3/19/19 KOMO “Seattle is dying” video as well as “LA homelessness crisis,” “What downtown Portland looks like right now” and “San Francisco squalor” videos.
Truth be told, many of America’s DemocRAT controlled cities are or are on the way to becoming third world hellholes. It’s time to “wake up people” because your support for godless socialism will very likely increase taxes; poverty and its misery; drug addiction, lawlessness, violence; and tens of millions more pro-socialism immigrants coming to America. The result will be more competition for available jobs, stagnant/low wages; and and more pollution. And according to liberal hypocrites who want more immigrants, more climate change causing carbon dioxide.
Undoubtedly most liberals including liberal “journalists” will hate to be reminded that before the China originated COVID-19 was intentionally or unintentionally unleashed across the globe and America, the national unemployment rate was 3.6% in January 2020. The unemployment rates for Hispanics and African-Americans had also been at historic lows. On Feb. 12, 2020 the Dow had reached an all time high of 29,551.
In my opinion, the destructiveness of the job, economy and people killing plaque from China is very similar to the destructiveness and misery caused by the Federal Reserve rapidly increasing interest rates in 1928 and 1929. That led directly to the Stock Market Crash of October 29, 1929, and brought an end to the prosperity of the Roaring 20s. The Fed’s tight monetary policies then led to the Great Depression and the election of Socialist Franklin Roosevelt. It seems like there have always been people who can’t stand to see America or its working class prosper.
