Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino Jr. announced on Friday that 10 more Cameron County employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
The employees worked at the following departments:
>> 1 – District Clerk’s Office
>> 1 – Public Works Pct. 3
>> 8 – Sheriff’s Department
Due to privacy laws, the county will not release specific employee information.
Officials said the Public Health Department is working closely with elected officials and department heads to continue taking the appropriate steps to keep employees and the public safe.
