LETTERS: Trump’s fake news

Brad Parscale, Trump’s campaign manager, posted a tweet with a photo of Air Force One rising over a massive crowd at the Daytona 500. The tweet: “@Trump won the #Daytona 500 before the race even started.” The tweet garnered 6,700 retweets and 23,000 likes. Three hours later the tweet was taken down. Why?

Well, it seems the photo was not taken Sunday after Trump visited the race track. The photo was actually taken on Feb. 15, 2004, during George W. Bush’s visit to the race track. The photo was taken by Jonathan Ferry. Parscale apparently confused Trump with Bush. There, W, take that!

So, no wonder Trump keeps on using the phrase “fake news.” I think his record shows that that is what he and his campaign are all about! Wait until Mike Bloomberg, Trump’s fellow New Yorker, discloses other juicy morsels.
