Get ready for some new deals on old finds this Sunday in Port Isabel.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the city will host the Port Isabel Antique & Flea Market at Beulah Lee Park on Highway 100. The event features dozens of dealers and thousands of deals, organizers said.
Vendors rent space for $25 a space, and they can sell collectibles, antiques, original and custom creations, pre-packaged foods compliant with the Texas Cottage Rule, clothing, shoes, accessories, crafts, jewelry and artwork.
Some items will not be allowed for sale, including food prepared onside; firearms, illegal items, CBD products or derivatives.
The flea market is set for the first Sunday of the month through October, and the first and third Sunday of the month from November through February.
Admission is free for shoppers, and the market will be open rain or shine, organizers said.
Pet are welcome at Beulah Lee Park, but they must be on a leash or in a carrier. No smoking is permitted, nor are alcoholic beverages allowed.
Proceeds benefit the Museums of Port Isabel.
The flea market is a short walk from the Museums of Port Isabel, which include the Port Isabel Lighthouse, Port Isabel Historical Museum and the Treasures of the Gulf Museum.
In the square off Highway 100 near the Queen Isabella Memorial Bridge, the Port Isabel Lighthouse is open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the museum website. The other two museums are within walking distance of the lighthouse—on the other side of Highway 100 in Port Isabel.
