McALLEN — Something new is coming to La Plaza Mall in 2021: a brand new theater.
“Cinemark is excited to bring our new, fresh, dine-in theatre concept to McAllen,” Mark Zoradi, Cinemark’s CEO, said in a news release.
The theater, named CUT!, will feature eight screens and allow viewers to enjoy a meal while watching a movie.
This will be the second CUT! theater to open in Texas.
According to the news release, CUT! will offer freshly prepared foods; a number of beers, martinis, wines and cocktails; high-tech screens; and more features found in modern movie theaters.
Construction is expected to begin in April 2020, with plans to open the theater in 2021.
