Police seek hit-and-run suspect

HARLINGEN — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday, July 9.

The victim told police he was traveling east on Washington Street about 8:55 p.m. that night when he was struck by a vehicle in the intersection at Morgan Boulevard.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle was described by witnesses as possibly a white Chevy Cavalier, which fled the scene after the crash.
