Woman missing from shelter

SAN BENITO — Rosa Hermelinda Astimbay-Liviganay, 41, has been missing since Monday.

She was last seen at a shelter located on Marydale Street in San Benito.

During a press conference yesterday, Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio said Liviganay may have left the shelter to go on a walk at approximately 10 p.m. but did not return.

She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with blue jeans. She has black hair, medium complexion and weighs about 150 pounds and is approximately 5 feet tall.

She is of Ecuadorian descent and according to Lucio could be unaware of her surroundings.
