LA FERIA — La Feria ISD continues to double up on security after threats were made of possible shooting attacks on social media Monday at W B Green Junior High School and La Feria High School.
Police officers as well as DPS troopers will monitor the schools from 6 to 8:30 a.m. and during the day until 4:30 p.m.
According to school officials, this will continue for the remainder of the school year.
School and local authorities continue to investigate the threats.
