Cameron County officials have reopened three county beaches: Boca Chica Beach, Beach Access #5 and #6 after extreme high tides made the beaches impassable.
The beaches were reopened at 10 a.m.
Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr. said the three beaches were closed temporarily to vehicles and pedestrian traffic due to high tides.
Officials warn tourists to remain cautious and follow the “Flag Advisory System” signs.
