All Cameron County beaches have been reopened in time for the weekend.
County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr. says beach access No. 5, 6 and Boca Chica Beach are now open to vehicular traffic.
The beaches were closed earlier this week because of high tides brought on by Hurricane Michael.
Treviño is urging swimmers to be careful in the water because of rip currents.
