Man wanted for questioning in weekend shooting

Harlingen Police are trying to find a man they believe may be responsible for shooting at a building earlier this week.

On Sunday, police were called to a report of shots fired on the 1000 block of W. Matz on the city’s northside.

Investigators found bullet holes in an apartment building and a number of bullet casings on the road.

A surveillance camera captured an image of the man police want to question. He is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has a ponytail. He was seen getting into a dark colored Ford Mustang.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call Harlingen Police at (956) 216-5940 or the Harlingen Area Crime Stoppers at (956) 425-8477.
