Since retiring to the Valley, I have kept my conservative views mostly to myself. Especially in the heavily Democratic population of The Rio Grande Valley where illegals are catered to and seem to have more rights than American citizens.
But when a liberal Democratic governor from an ultra liberal state publicly makes the comment “America was never that great,” I can’t ignore it. This man is not qualified to be a dog catcher much less than a governor of a state.
Tell that to the Marines on Iwo Jima, the men on the beaches of Normandy, the brave men and women that fought and died in Korea and Vietnam and those currently engaged on The War on Terror.
America was great, is great and will continue down the path to future greatness.
