RAYMONDVILLE — Five residents face multiple charges in a drug raid on a mobile home described as a “one-stop shop.”

After a six-week investigation, the Willacy County Sheriff’s Department used a search warrant to raid the mobile home off Emma Ross Road about 5 a.m. yesterday, Sheriff Larry Spence said.

“We’ve been getting a lot of complaints about activity at this location,” he said.

Authorities seized crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, non-prescribed patches of fentanyl and a 9mm pistol.

Reyes Garcia, who was leasing the mobile home, faces charges of possession of a control substance, possession of marijuana, engaging in organized criminal activity and two counts of child endangerment because two children were in the trailer, Maj. Ernie Garcia said.

Spence said the department was withholding the names of two men and two women until a judge arraigns them today.

The four face charges of possession of a control substance, possession of marijuana and engaging in organized criminal activity, Garcia said.

Authorities seized 15.1 grams of crack cocaine, 3.9 grams of powder cocaine, 4.36 ounces of synthetic marijuana, 3.05 ounces of marijuana, three non-prescribed patches of fentanyl and a 9mm pistol, Garcia said.

“This is street-level narcotics dealing,” Garcia said. “It was kind of like a one-stop shop. In this rural area, people deal in what’s in demand. Obviously, there was a demand.”

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s investigative unit, the High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force and the Willacy County District Attorney’s Office assisted in the case, he said.
