A note to Mr. Jim N. Taylor: It appears you also have a lack of knowledge of the 2nd Constitutional Amendment and its meaning.
You misquoted the 2nd amendment when you wrote “well-armed Militia.”
The 2nd amendment states a “well-Regulated Militia,” a term the NRA and gun radicals do not want to hear.
Our founding Fathers knew that the young U.S.A needed a strong Central government with laws, rules, and regulations, otherwise mass turmoil and confusion would occur.
Also, arming Teachers will make them first targets, catching the students in a cross-fire with no place to turn. Well trained security is a much better option.
