A-24-year-old teacher from Santa Rosa is in federal custody following her arrest on a warrant charging her with having an improper relationship with a student.

A-24-year-old teacher from Santa Rosa is in federal custody following her arrest on a warrant charging her with having an improper relationship with a student.

Aracely Sauceda, who taught at Caldwell High School – near Bryan-College Station -was taken into custody Wednesday at the Progreso International Bridge as she tried to cross back to the United States, U.S. Customs and Border Protection stated in a press release.

A check on Sauceda indicated that she has an outstanding warrant from Burelson County Sheriff’s Office. She was a teacher at Caldwell High School.

CBP officers turned the former Caldwell High School teacher over to the Hidalgo County.
