Expect major temperature drops as cold front comes in

The temperatures will be cool enough for Valley residents to bring out those sweaters and jackets, weather officials said.

The temperatures will be in the 80s early this afternoon before dropping to the 60s later in the day; sometime between 2 and 4 p.m.

The temperatures will then dip down to the 50s just in time for Friday night football. Officials said it will feel chiller because of the gusty breeze that will accompany the cold front.

The lows on Saturday morning will range from the 40s to the 50s. Saturday’s daytime temperatures will be in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.
