LAGUNA VISTA — Looking for family-friendly activities this Halloween?
The town will host a Boo Bash at the Bay Saturday evening for residents looking for a fun, safe way to celebrate the holiday.
Boo Bash will include a viewing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” on a large inflatable screen at Roloff Park and costume contests.
Residents can enjoy free popcorn and drinks with their children and pets while enjoying the movie.
Patrol officers will be dressed up in costume to talk about the importance of safety during the holiday.
Children and pets are encouraged to dress up to compete in a costume contest where prizes will be given to the top three pets and children in the competition.
Glow-in-the-dark necklaces and bracelets will be given to attendees to wear during the festivities.
Boo Bash at the Bay is just one of the many activities available during the week of Halloween for families looking for a fun and safe way to celebrate.
Over the weekend, the Christ’s Harbor Church will be hosting activities.
The church will be having a “Fun Fall Feast” and “Chili Cook Off” Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Residents looking to celebrate on the actual day of Halloween can find some fun at the public library.
Residents can look to the library for their Trick- or-Treating needs.
The Laguna Vista public library will be hosting a “Trick-or-Treat” event on Tuesday where members of the Friends of the Library will be issuing candies and books to children.
