New board chair of Harlingen Chamber

HARLINGEN — The Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors will begin a new year under the leadership of Chamber Board Chair and Vice President of Shepard Walton King Insurance Group, Josh Fields.

“As your incoming Chairman of the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce, I am proud to represent this outstanding organization that has a long-standing tradition of supporting and promoting business in the community,” said Fields.

The Chamber also welcomed Co-Owner of Rio Vista Dentistry, Dr. Bonnie D. Villarreal, Vice President of Commercial Lending at First Community Bank, Kyle Orgera and Owner of Farmers Insurance-Daniel Martinez Agency, Daniel Martinez to the Chamber Board of Directors.

Executive Directors on the Chamber Board include: Immediate Past Chair — Michael Allex of Rike, Ogden, Figueroa, Allex Architects, Inc; Chair-Elect — Brenda Ivory of Harlingen Medical Center; Secretary — Daniel Listi of Valley Baptist Health System and Treasurer — Traci Gonzalez of Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District.

Additional Directors of the Board include: Tre Peacock of Peacock General Contractors, Eric Ziehe of NAI Rio Grande Valley, Edward Sokolosky of United Capital Financial Life Management and Frank Castellanos of Chick-Fil-A in Harlingen.
