I can only guess Frank Garcia does not understand what being a sovereign nation means.
He does not understand that if Russia made an effort to dictate our presidential election they can control the future actions of Americans.
For example:The Middle East countries are not at each other’s necks because they are sovereign.
They are at war because the United States is always meddling in their affairs by U.S. companies for profit.They are killing each other by the thousands every month.
Do we care?We don’t.
If we really cared about people over there we would be in Africa right now because in Africa people are dying by the millions.They are starving. But there is no profit for U.S. companies.That’s why we are not there.
As for jobs I can tell you this.
On the same day Mr. Garcia complained about jobs, an article in theVMS clearly stated that unemployment fell to 4.6 inTexas.
And I can tell you this.There are millions of jobs that Americans don’t want because minimal wage is not enough for them.
Others don’t want to work because the government benefits will be taken away or it requires getting up early in the morning.
Thousands and thousands of jobs are being issues through the H1B and H2B visa programs.The H1b visas are the highly skills workers while the H2B visas are the unskilled workers.
Silently PresidentTrump just approved thousands and thousands of them. It was announced in several media outlets or will it be labeled as“Fake News?”
As for affordable insurance: if more people work maybe everybody’s share of the pie would be less.
All the other troubles that are mentioned also have serious negative connotations.
But the one I like to point out as the best is that nobody said anything when the Harlingen Mayor and Commissioners raided the HarlingenWaterworks System.
They took thousands and thousands of customers’ money and donated it to one of their friends building a hotel.
That money was for new sewer installations where customers have no sewer systems.There are 3,400 homes on the septic system within the city limits of Harlingen. But the money went to a private hotel.
And nobody said anything when the Mayor and the Commissioners approve a $4.50“street improvement fee” for fixing streets.
That is a very serious thing because in the future they will separate the street maintenance fee from the regular city taxes that we pay.
Then the“street maintenance fee” will be a lot more than just $4.50.Think $25 per month per household then they will be paving the alleys of their friends businesses.
I view it as legalized thievery. And they are getting away with it.
Nevermind the thousands of old citizens who live on low Social Security paychecks and the other poor whose $4.50 fee makes a difference in their lives So between Russia attempting to dictate our sovereignty and our city leaders picking our pockets, what are we going to do?
I bet Mr.Trump will be calling it“Fake News” while he stuffs his pockets with profits with all those administrative changes.
And I wish America will finally get a little bit smarter.
ForTrump“Real News” are the things of distraction to achieve something to stuff his pockets.
He hopes stupid Americans get (Republicans, Democrats, and liberals) distracted. I really don’t think he discriminates. He just loves stupid Americans.
“Fake News” is all the things and issues that get in his way in achieving his purpose.
