Harlingen police say a 19-year-old Rio Hondo man was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a pickup Sunday night.
The accident happened at 9:15 Sunday night at the intersection of FM 106 and FM 509, east of the city.
When officers arrived they say they found Adrian Guillen of Rio Hondo dead at the scene.
Investigators say witnesses told them Guillen was driving eastbound on FM 106 (Harrison Avenue) in a maroon Honda Shadow motorcycle. They say the light was red when he drove through the intersection.
Officers say Guillen was struck by a grey Toyota Tundra that was making a legal left turn from FM 106 onto FM 509.
The accident remains under investigation.
