HARLINGEN — The National Weather Service has issued an alert for dangerous rip currents along coastal beaches along with a small-craft advisory for boaters in the gulf.
HARLINGEN — The National Weather Service has issued an alert for dangerous rip currents along coastal beaches along with a small-craft advisory for boaters in the gulf.
Also in the forecast is the potential for minor tidal overflowing along South Texas beaches due to heavy surf of three to five feet and strong onshore winds during high tide later today.
The rip current warning will remain in effect through Friday afternoon.
