The City of Harlingen’s Veterans’ Advisory Board and the Veterans’ Memorial Project Committee will hold the 2017 Memorial Day commemoration on Tuesday, May 30 at Veteran’s Memorial Park.
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and feature Cameron County Commissioner, Pct. 4 Gus Ruiz as a guest speaker and U.S. Marine Corps Commanding Officer Col. Carlton W. Hasle as the keynote speaker.
The memorial park is located at Pendleton Park, 1427 Morgan Blvd.
