The last hurrah

I had a dream having to do with the San Benito CISD one morning. I open the newspaper to find the school board election responses.

Question 2, what do you hope to bring to the school district, if elected? Board members had good answers. Add on: Bring my faith and presence of my Lord to the school district because these are God’s beloved children.

A lot of talk in the past about San Benito superintendents. We hire a person by degrees and experience. They fill their pockets with the money of the children of San Benito.

They leave and little is done. Jesus took simple fishermen and they have done much for San Benito at no cost to the taxpayers.

Superintendent within, San Benito is looking for: 1. A man that fears God 2. A man that lives for the Lord 3. All other qualifications are negotiable 4. Simple pay with opportunity of bonus for your work.

5. Bonus in the hands of the school board.

I volunteered to give the prayer for the 2006-07 back-to-school breakfast. During the prayer, I was told that I was through. I said I have a message for the San Benito CISD and I will deliver it. I went forward, grabbed the microphone and delivered the message.

If you don’t give people miracles, all you are doing is giving good advice.

I was asked by Rangerville teachers to come pray for their children and classrooms. When I was leaving, there were two first-year teachers in the hallway. They asked if I was the one who prayed.

They asked me to pray for their children and rooms.

In May, I received calls from the teachers asking if I knew what happened.

The two new teachers scored the highest in the school district. Is this not what we want?

I talked with them and told them because I prayed this did not happen.

This happened because you asked Jesus to come into your rooms.

The world is pushing Jesus out of our lives.

Teachers don’t need anyone to pray. Every person has a direct connection to the Lord.

There is a reason for every problem – school districts, employment, family, city, country, world and Hernandez hung himself. Why?

The answer – it is the lack of the presence of Jesus of Nazareth in our lives.

Whoever needs help?

JOB 6:13 Is my help not within me?

Thank you Lord for being the Morning Star.
