La Paloma Elementary fourth and fifth grade students and their teachers stand inside the Texas Capitol alongside Texas District 27 Senator Eddie Lucio Jr. and Texas District 38 Representative Eddie Lucio III.
The instructional trip afforded the students an opportunity to visit the Texas Capitol to learn more about the judicial and lawmaking processes. They took a tour of the Texas Capitol, observed Texas legislators in action, and met with Senator Lucio and his son, Representative Lucio.
