SANTA ROSA — Elma E. Barrera Elementary school leaders will be attending a summer leadership program at Harvard University this summer.
“This is a tremendous honor to have our staff spend some time at Harvard to learn from top educators in the nation,” said Heriberto Villarreal, Santa Rosa ISD superintendent.
The teachers were selected as part of Raise Your Hand Texas organization working to strengthen public education.
The purpose of the program is to select and invest in the development of Texas educators who exhibit the potential to affect significant change at their campus, within their district and across their region.
