Pay attention in San Benito

Citizens of San Benito:

Take notice that all four candidates that have the white political signs with their faces on them, posted all over town, did not have the decency to appear in the “Meet Your Candidates Forum,” sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce last week.

This is an insult and a slap in the face to us, the voters of San Benito.

These are the kind of characters, for lack of a better word, that we do not want running the school board.

A couple of these candidates have served in previous boards or schools administrators and were fired or voted out because of their poor or possibly unethical dealings in their job performance. Please check out their histories.

We need to vote for honest, hard working, ethical and caring candidates.

The above mentioned candidates do not meet these standards, but you decide.

It pains me to write a letter like this, but I have lived in this town for many years and know better.

All I want and I know you also want is a better school system for our children.

So, please go out and vote for the candidates that will improve the education and lives of our children and not their own.
