‘Little Free Library’ dedicated at LeMoyne Gardens

The mayor and other city officials today held a ribbon cutting for a Little Free Library that has just been placed at LeMoyne Gardens.

Mayor Chris Boswell commended Alejandro Muniz, a junior at Harlingen High School, for embarking on the project.

“I would like to commend everyone who put this together. This is an opportunity to encourage literacy. It’s visible symbol. It’s an attraction for youth to come over.”

Alejandro, 16, plans to install three other boxes at housing authority communities around town.
