McALLEN— Five Rio Grande Valley school districts are among those recognized by the Texas Education Agency for having more than one campus deemed high-performing or high-progress Title I schools.
The 2015-2016 Title I Reward Schools recognition identified campuses with high graduation rates and high performance on state accountability assessments in reading and Mathematics during the 2014-2015 school year.
Valley school districts with more than one campus recognized include Brownsville, Edinburg, IDEA Public Schools, Sharyland and Valley View.
