If you’re looking for a safe and fun place to take your children tonight consider Halloween on Jackson Street in downtown Harlingen.
Merchants will be giving away candy and treats to all the goblins, a dance contest and rides for the kids, plus there will be pumpkin carving and costume contests.
All the fun runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
If you’re dressing up as a zombie then join the zombie walk. All the zombies are meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Centennial Park Memorial – that’s located by the large mural at 101 S. West Street, corner of Jackson Avenue. The first 100 zombies lined up for the short zombie walk receive free medals.
And if you’ve carved a pumpkin at home or school bring it to the event for a chance to win a prize!
It is an evening filled with lots of candy stations, a free haunted house and food trucks!
