Girl Scouts unveil new S’mores cookies

When you order your Girl Scout cookies next year you’ll have a new flavor to pick. It is called Girl Scout S’mores.

Today the Girl Scouts of South Texas announced the new cookie treat. The group will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2017 and is commemorating the occasion with the new cookie.

The cookie comes two ways. In the Valley girls will sell S’mores cookies dipped in chocolate. The second version has a chocolate and marshmallow filling inside a graham cracker cookie.

”We are excited to introduce our cookie customers to this new Girl Scout S’mores™ cookie,” said Lea Peacock, Chief Executive Officer. “Close to our hearts and an awesome part of our history, s’mores are an extra special treat for everyone, and this cookie brings a new and delicious way for consumers to support girls and the fun adventures that inspire their confidence and business skills which will set them up for success beyond anything they can imagine.”

By the way the cookies are vegan.
