McDonald’s video shows missing woman at register

The Harlingen Police Department released video today of a missing McDonald’s employee moments before she disappeared.

Nahomi Rodriguez, 19, of San Benito has not been seen since July 17 when she walked out of the McDonald’s at Business 77 and Morgan Boulevard where she worked and got into a dark colored SUV with an unidentified man.

The video shows Rodriguez at the drive-thru window of the fast food restaurant filling a cup with soda. She looks out the window and it appears she knows the driver because moments later they share a fist bump.

Police say the SUV Rodriguez got into was possibly a Ford Escape and drove eastbound on Washington Street.

Rodriguez was last seen wearing her McDonald’s uniform of a black shirt, black pants and a black cap.

Investigators say they are working with a local billboard company in hopes of displaying a billboard with Rodriguez photo and information.

If you were at the McDonald’s between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. on July 17 and think you might have seen something suspicious or can recognize the vehicle police would like to talk to you.
