MERCEDES – Investors and city officials announced on Saturday the Queen City’s next big project.
The group plans to break ground next month for the development of a family entertainment facility called The Harbor.
The $12 million development will be located one mile west of the Rio Grande Valley Outlets.
The Harbor will feature a man made lake, Big Shots Golf entertainment and a restaurant. The second phase of development will include, go-cart racing, zipline system and other attractions scheduled for the fall of 2017.
The developers for this project are Kame Saloman Investments, a development group based out of McAllen.
