Forecasters say today we will finally see a little relief from the extreme heat.
The National Weather Service in Brownsville says a front that moved through the Valley today will keep high temperatures in the lower to mid 90s across the Rio Grande Valley and the rest of Deep South Texas.
This front will also bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms today. There’s a 40% chance of rain in the Mid and Lower Valley, and Starr County and the ranchlands.
