BROWNSVILLE — The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas on Tuesday criticized the Border Patrol for disrupting daily life on the U.S.-Mexico border and urged federal, state and local governments to spend more on programs and infrastructure that meet the needs of border communities.

The ACLU of Texas released a report titled “The Harms of Border Patrol on Daily Life Along the Texas Border,” which documents the results of interviews with about 150 people in the Rio Grande Valley, the majority from Brownsville.
