Gov. Abbott finally made it clear with his own recent orders that, despite the best advice available, his Republican government, for at least the past decade, has mismanaged the electric grid to the point where it cost Texans their lives, property and income.
ERCOT should demand the strictest compliance to reserve capacity, maintenance and offline standards. The Public Utility Commission should prohibit any rate increases from any fuel supplying, generating, distribution or billing agency and demand that the cost of putting the grid right be paid out of those agencies’ past profits.
Please remember this gross disregard for public safety when voting for our next governor.
