Two MAGA Republican candidates are running in South Texas for the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. These two Republican candidates are getting millions of campaign money from outside special interests and the national Republican Party.
The Republican Party has never before cared about South Texas voters. But this election cycle they want to retake control of the House, so they are pumping a lot of money to support these two candidates who support Donald Trump, the most corrupt president in the history of the United States. He served one term. Was impeached twice. His incompetence led to nearly a million American deaths. Two campaign managers and many associates have been arrested. Two of his lawyers have had their homes raided by law enforcement. He as been banned from social media for lying.
A vote for these two Republican candidates in South Texas is a vote for more corruption in WashingtonD.C. by Trump Republicans. The Republican Party gutted voting rights, sabotaged the U.S. Postal Service, closed many polling places, purged voters, attacked mail-in voting and fabricated evidence of voter fraud. All these are fascist tactics that don’t belong in our democracy.
Both of these local Republican candidates support selling military-style weapons to 18-year-olds who can’t legally buy alcohol. They, like Greg Abbott, prefer to support the NRA than to protect Texas children from gun violence.
These two candidates are MAGA Republicans who in supporting Trump believe that scientists, scholars, historians, economists and journalists have devoted their entire lives to lying to us, but instead choose to believe a reality show TV guy with decades of fraud and extensive documented lying. The following is a only a small list of the lies Trump convinced people to vote for him.
Everyone will have health care.
Mexico will pay for the wall.
U.S. Steel is building six new plants.
North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat.
I will bring back coal jobs.
It’s easy to win tariff wars.
I will eliminate the national debt.
If elected I will release my taxes.
I will defeat ISIS in 30 days.
Lies, lies, lies are what we want from our government.
If these two Republican South Texas candidates are elected, Republicans will take over control of the House of Representatives. The only thing the House of Representatives and the Senate under Trump did was give millionaires, billionaires and giant corporations the biggest tax break in history. Many of these millionaires and billionaires pay fewer taxes than teachers.
With all the campaign money coming from the outside, we don’t want our local representatives in Washington being used like puppets. Vote for true representation.
Both of these Republican candidates for local districts refuse to debate their Democrat opponents in a public forum. Either they have something to hide or they don’t want their lack of knowledge and experience revealed to the public. They are puppets to the corrupt D.C. MAGA Republicans. They apparently don’t have anything to offer their constituents other than smears against their opponents.
These two local Republican candidates belong to the party where a large percentage of them don’t believe in our democratic elections. They are still saying Trump didn’t lose the election. Vote for the party that cares about health care, voting rights, women’s rights and equal rights for all citizens including our LGBT community, all Americans. Vote Democrat to stop fascism in America.
