Americans are now entering uncharted, revolutionary territory, and the winds of revolution are not just blowing, they are at gale force and strengthening.
These are rare and unusual times as we struggle with most every segment of our lives. Gasoline prices have skyrocketed from $1.85 a gallon 14 months ago to $4.29 a gallon, with prospects of $6 predicted by late summer. We suffer with 8.5% inflation, so readily apparent at the grocery store and everywhere we shop. We listen to the senseless diatribes of Biden, blaming Putin for these problems, when more than 30% of these increases were pre-Ukraine invasion. Biden, with great purpose, has decimated our energy sector, taking us from a totally independent energy position, even to the point of exporting energy, to where we now beg for oil from countries that hate us, including some with communist governments.
The blatantly untrue statements concerning oil exploration are not only misleading, but crafted to purposely defeat the search for new oil. Biden’s cohorts have placed so many unworthy restrictions that those in the drilling business are stymied by stonewalling, unnecessary hoops to jump through, leaving little chance for profit.
Adding icing to the cake, Biden, on his first day in office, cancelled the XL Pipeline, which would have been safe, economical and of great benefit to all Americans.
For the eco-crowd, think about the pollution caused by all of those diesel-powered trains, and especially semi-trailer rigs hauling crude oil overland, and compare that to the zero emissions of a pipeline.
We remember 9/11, and wonder how many current invaders have harmful intentions. Is it any wonder that only 26% of Hispanics support Biden and his lackeys?
Supermarket shelves are thinning, and meats are now beyond the budgets of millions of Americans. An American president casually warns of food shortages. Baby formula has disappeared from many shelves.
Politics resembles the violent last days of the Roman Empire.
A leak of a possible impending Supreme Court reversal of Roe v. Wade, that would allow state voters to set their own abortion laws, has created a national hysteria. Never has a White House, or Department of Justice, tacitly approved mobs of protesters showing up at Supreme Court justices’ homes to rant and bully them into altering their votes.
There is no free speech anymore on campuses. What happened?
We are sliding into permanent mediocrity and irreversible declining standards of living. But these are choices, not fate.
We have the largest gas, coal and oil deposits in the world, and we possess the know-how to build the safest pipelines and ensure the cleanest energy development on the planet.
Inflation was a deliberate Biden choice. He kept printing trillions of dollars for short-term political advantage, fomenting labor non-participation, keeping interest rates at historic lows at a time of pent-up global demand.
Biden wants no southern border, as that way unknowing, impoverished immigrants repay left-wing policies that undermine the entire legal immigration system with their loyalty! the ballot box!
And so it is, the American people are awakening to the less than frank, open and sincere thoughts and speech of a president who demonstrates degraded cognitive awareness, whose freedom from bias, fairness and especially impartiality is certainly apparent, and is causing a head-long rush to untold events that will be earth shattering for our nation. The behind-the-scene puppeteers, the radical Left, which has neither constitutional or common sense, drives our nation to the edge, and is undermining our very basic democracy. These radical individuals, non-elected and hidden from view, surround an inept, uncaring and dishonest president, who rules much as a monarchy would, by executive order, bureaucratic directives and through equally inept and nonperforming Cabinet members. The elites of the Left ignore edicts of the Supreme Court, dream of “packing” the court, ending the filibuster, doing away with the Electoral College, adding more states, and assuredly will call upon its wealthiest members to flood the airways with useless and inaccurate Democrat drivel. You can expect more defamation of character, cancel culture, huge amounts of disinformation, and swarming of private homes of officials they target for bullying.
It is these qualities, these deficiencies, and these ongoing destructive performances that make those inclined toward revolutionary activities most dangerous. The looming disaster at the forthcoming polls also drives those in power to levels of great distrust, something that demands unvarying attention by all who care for our nation.
The American people reject the inadequate and damaging policies of recent history, and it is through the ballot box that they will demonstrate their dissatisfaction and power. The winds of revolution must be calmed, and each of us must work intently toward our constitutional and democratic ways of governing. God bless America!
