The Hidalgo County Courthouse is scheduled to resume normal operations Monday.
The building closed Tuesday afternoon after a faulty water cooler stopped the facility’s air-conditioning system from working properly.
The courthouse remained closed through the rest of the week.
On Friday, officials said the cooling tower is working properly and that all operations will begin again on Monday.
This follows the county being able to secure a new water cooler, installing it and testing it to make sure it functioned properly.
